Nate Young

Nate Young's work experience includes a role as a Backend Developer at Where's Weed starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Gabbart Communications from 2019 to 2021, where they served as a Web Developer, Project Lead Developer (E-Notes), and Junior PHP Developer. At Gabbart Communications, Nate was involved in the development and support of mass notification systems and school payment systems for K-12 schools. Nate also completed a ground-up overhaul and redesign of an outdated legacy system and led a small team in this effort. Before joining Gabbart Communications, Nate worked as a Staff Manager and System Administrator at MineYourMind from 2016 to 2020, where they managed a moderation team and ensured the stability of a Minecraft server cluster. Prior to that, they worked at The Home Depot as a Sales Associate, Lift Truck Operator, and Cashier from 2014 to 2019. Nate also had a role as an IETV & Blackboard Student Employee at Southeastern Oklahoma State University CIDT from 2018 to 2019.

Nate Young's education history begins with their high school education at Bells High School from 2010 to 2014. Nate then pursued further studies at Grayson College from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate of Science in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems. Following this, Nate attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University from 2018 to 2020, where they earned two Bachelor of Science degrees. The first degree was in Computer Science, while the second degree was in Computer Information Systems.

In addition to their academic achievements, Nate Young also holds two certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist. Nate obtained these certifications from Certiport in June 2013 and May 2013 respectively.
