Marcel Huss-Nielsen

Marcel Huss-Nielsen has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1997. Starting as a Sergeant in the Forsvaret / KAR - 4 LVMBT, Stinger, they then worked as a Web Developer, Frontend Developer, UI Extensibility Developer, and Site Optimization Manager for De Gule Sider A/S from 2003 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Front-end Developer for QXL Ricardo Nordic. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at Trustpilot as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Front-end Architect & Team Lead, and Front-end Developer. Finally, they are currently a Sr Engineering Manager at Whimsical since 2022.

Marcel Huss-Nielsen obtained a Multimedia Designer degree from Nordsjællands Erhvervsakademi between 2000 and 2003, specializing in Interaction Design. Prior to this, they were a student at Frederiksværk Gymnasium between 1994 and 1996, studying English, Art & Science. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Javascript Basics, Scrum & Agile Development "Boot Camp" and XML Basics from Superusers and Local Matters INC, respectively.
