Dave McManus

Dave McManus is the Senior Vice President of Client Services for Whip Media in the United Kingdom. Dave has over 20 years of experience in video production, management, and distribution.

Dave got their start in the industry with PunkRockVids.com, which they founded in 2000. For 10 years, Dave managed the website, curating and distributing punk rock music videos. In 2010, they transitioned to working freelance as a video production manager and video distribution manager. Dave consulted with various companies on their video distribution strategies and helped produce video content for a variety of clients.

In 2008, Dave joined Joost as their Content Operations Manager. Joost was a short-lived internet TV startup that was ultimately unsuccessful. However, Dave gained valuable experience managing digital video products and projects during their time there.

In 2010, Dave started working at Universal Music Group as their International Video Release Manager & Longform Project Manager. Dave was responsible for managing digital video products for all UK and International releases. In 2012, Dave left Universal Music Group to join Whip Media as their Senior Vice President of Client Services.

Dave McManus attended Kingston University, where they earned a Bsc Honours in Media Technology.
