Sarath Chandar Sakthivinayagam started their work experience as a System Engineer at Infosys in July 2011 and worked in this role until September 2013. Sarath Chandar then became a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys from October 2013 to December 2014, where they were responsible for system and network setup activities at client locations. From January 2015 to December 2016, Sarath worked as a Technology Analyst at Infosys, focusing on process management and automation. From January 2017 to June 2019, they served as a Technology Lead at Infosys, leading a critical module of a large-scale tax reformation project and designing RESTful APIs using the Spring Framework. Sarath joined I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee) in July 2019, initially as a Core Team Member and later as a Senior Analyst from January 2020 to March 2020. Currently, they are working as a Solutions Lead at Whirldata Inc since March 2020.

Sarath Chandar Sakthivinayagam completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering at St. Peter's Engineering College from 2007 to 2011. Sarath Chandar then pursued their 12th Standard education in Bio Math at Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2005 to 2007. Before that, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in November 2022. Sarath also pursued various online certifications, including Applied Data Science Capstone, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Machine Learning with Python, Data Visualization with Python, Databases and SQL for Data Science, Python for Data Science, Data Science Methodology, Open Source tools for Data Science, What is Data Science?, AI For Everyone, and R Programming A-Z™: R For Data Science With Real Exercises! through platforms like Coursera and Udemy. Sarath Chandar also completed a User Experience and Interaction Design course from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2016.
