Prior to joining Whirlpool, Gilles gained over 25 years experience in the consumer goods industry, mostly at Mars Inc. leading sales, operations, marketing, manufacturing, research and development and procurement. He covered several regional leadership roles, including President for the European & Eurasian region for Mars Chocolate. Most recently, Gilles was CEO Northern and Central Europe at Savencia Fromage & Dairy, overseeing 14 markets including Germany, Central Europe, Benelux and Nordics.
