Tom Lloyd

Tom Lloyd has extensive experience in both law enforcement and advisory roles. Serving as Honorary President and Executive Chairman of WhistleblowersUK since November 2015, Tom Lloyd advocates for justice for whistleblowers across various sectors in the UK. As an Independent Drug Policy Adviser since 2007, Tom Lloyd has contributed to drug policy discussions. Tom Lloyd also worked with Renegade Pictures as a Police Documentaries Adviser from March 2012 to April 2013, aiming to reshape the portrayal of policing in media. Prior roles include Head of Security at the Institute of Statecraft and Governance from 2007 to 2010 and Chief Constable of the UK Police Service, where Tom Lloyd served over 30 years, including a tenure as Director of Strategic Coordination at New Scotland Yard. Tom Lloyd holds an Honours degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Oxford, earned between 1971 and 1974.
