Elizabeth Black

Elizabeth Black serves as the Director of Responsible Business at White & Case LLP, a role held since August 2007, where management of the firm's global social responsibility initiatives is a primary focus. These initiatives include legal education programs, a global pro bono practice, volunteerism, and environmental sustainability efforts. Prior to this, Elizabeth held various positions as a consultant in social responsibility and worked as a national election observer, political analyst, and volunteer coordinator. Earlier career roles include Director of Development at the International Law Institute and Executive Director of the International Law Students Association, as well as serving as the Staff Director for the Education Committee at the Florida House of Representatives. Elizabeth holds a JD from the Florida State University College of Law, a BA in Political Science from Appalachian State University, and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
