Philip Welz is a Senior Kubernetes & DevOps Engineer at white duck GmbH since August 2021, previously serving as a Kubernetes Systems Engineer at IONOS for a brief period in early 2021. From December 2009 to April 2021, Philip held the position of Team Lead - IT Ops / DevOps at CCC – powered by TELUS International, where leadership focused on automation and DevOps while managing a global IT operations team responsible for a VMware and Kubernetes infrastructure spanning 22 locations. Philip’s technological expertise encompasses a wide range of tools and platforms including Bash, Debian Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, GitLab, Helm, and various observability solutions. Prior roles also included IT Team Manager - System Administration, overseeing Microsoft and Linux infrastructures in Berlin, and IT System Administrator, providing first and second level support across multiple domains.
