Stewart D. McLaurin

Stewart D. McLaurin has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. Stewart D. started their career in 1990 as an Executive Assistant to the Secretary at the United States Department of Energy. Following that, they worked as a Manager of Public Affairs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1993. In 1996, McLaurin became the Chief of Staff at the American Red Cross until 1999. From 2001 to 2007, they served as the Chief of Staff at Georgetown University. In 2007, McLaurin joined the Motion Picture Association as the Executive Vice President of Education Affairs, a position they held until 2009. Stewart D. then worked as the Executive Director for the Ronald Reagan Centennial Celebration at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, McLaurin became the Vice President of The Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington until 2013. Stewart D. then served as the Executive Vice President at the American Village Citizenship Trust from 2013 to 2014. Currently, McLaurin holds the position of President at both the White House Historical Association and The White House Historical Association, starting from May 2014.

Stewart D. McLaurin completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in American History and Political Science from The University of Alabama, graduating in 1981. Stewart D. then continued their education at The University of Alabama to focus on United States History and Political Science, although it is unknown when they completed this program.
