Mike Scott Ms, Cfo, Mifiree

Mike Scott, MS, CFO, MIFireE, currently serves as Assistant Chief at Grand Fire Protection District 1 since September 2023 and has been a Guest Instructor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since June 2018. Previously, Mike held positions including Fire Chief at Nederland Fire Rescue from December 2021 to March 2023, Section Chief at Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control from March 2020 to December 2021, and Division Chief at both Colorado River Fire Protection District and Crested Butte Fire Department. Mike's career also includes experience as a Paramedic FTO at Denver Health Paramedic School from September 2009 to September 2012. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science/Emergency Management and a Master of Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management/Homeland Security from Purdue Global, along with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from The Art Institutes.
