Hortense Halle-Yang

Hortense 海棠 HALLE-YANG is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as Head of Sustainability at White Peak Real Estate Investment since April 2022, overseeing ESG initiatives and carbon accounting across the company. With a strong background in climate change awareness training as a facilitator for Climate Fresk CHINA and a facilitator for the Biodiversity Collage, Hortense has also held significant roles in sustainable design with AREP and program management at The Paulson Institute. Prior roles include Director of Operations at China Greentech Initiative, Co-Founder and Executive Director at H!TANG & China Creative Connections, and Brand Manager at Bongrain (Tianjin) Foods Co., Ltd. An education background in Marketing & Communication from ESCP Business School and certifications in Sustainable Development further bolster Hortense’s expertise in the field.
