Maxx Arguilla

Maxx Arguilla is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine since July 2020, Maxx previously held the position of Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2017 to June 2020. Maxx's academic journey also includes roles as a Graduate Research Associate and Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University from August 2012 to August 2017, as well as an Instructor 3 at the University of the Philippines from May 2011 to May 2012. Early professional experience includes a brief tenure as a Student Intern at United Laboratories, Inc. in April 2010. Maxx earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry from The Ohio State University between 2012 and 2017, following a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines from 2007 to 2011.
