Omar Hamid

Omar Hamid is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering with expertise in renewable fuels. Currently serving as a Renewable Fuels Subject Matter Expert and Group Manager at Worley since April 2019, Omar also contributes to academia as a part-time faculty member at the University of California, Irvine, where the focus is on teaching Chemical Engineering Design courses. Prior experience includes senior engineering roles at Jacobs Engineering for over a decade and Technip for eleven years. Omar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with an Environmental Emphasis from the University of Southern California, attained between 1992 and 1995.
