The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing, coaching, and leading a Sales Department that consists of both inside and outside sales team members.
Make outbound sales calls to prospective clients. Will also use other forms of prospecting including but not limited to: Linkedin posts/messages/connections, email and video email prospecting, hand-written letters, invites to webinars, and customer research and incentive offers.
Supervise and coach the sales team on best use of all of the above.
Train new sales department hires.
Audit sales calls using Chorus (software). Work with stakeholders to determine how to set useful tracking metrics in Chorus.
Audit sales activity and performance in Salesforce. Work with stakeholders to create KPIs and reports/dashboards to effectively track KPIs.
Audit call metrics using Aircall (phone software). Establish KPIs with Stakeholders and create process to manage sales team member's call metrics.
Track employee performance and KPIs and communicate with stakeholders prior to quarterly and annual performance reviews.
Hold weekly Sales Team meetings to address weekly KPIs, coaching opportunities, updates, questions, or new ideas.
