Brian Lofton

Brian Lofton has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Brian started their career in 2002 at Summit Strategies, where they worked as a Vice President in Capital Markets Research until 2006. Brian then joined Deephaven Capital Management as a Vice President in Risk Management from 2007 to 2009. At Deephaven Capital Management, they collaborated with portfolio managers to develop trading and risk analytics for various hedge fund strategies. In 2009, they moved to Allianz Life as a Vice President, specializing in Hedge Design and Management until 2011. Brian then joined Concordance Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager in Systematic Trading from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Risk Officer at Whitebox Advisors LLC since December 2013.

Brian Lofton began their education at Washington University in St. Louis in 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Mathematics. Brian successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. Following this, in 2006, Brian attended the University of Chicago to obtain a Master's degree in Financial Mathematics, which they completed in 2007.
