Jason Schultz

Jason Schultz is an experienced finance professional with significant expertise in accounting and tax management. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting & Tax at Whitecap Resources Inc. since April 2014, Jason previously held positions including Manager of Financial Reporting & Tax and Assistant Corporate Controller at Ivanhoe Energy Inc. His earlier roles include Senior Advisor at Suncor Energy, Supervisor at FortisAlberta Inc., and various positions at Deloitte, where Jason developed a solid foundation in accounting practices. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting and a minor in finance from the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in economics from the same institution. Jason has also pursued further professional development through the CFA Institute.
