Clara Coffey

Lead Bike Patroller at Whitefish Mountain Resort

Clara Coffey is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Premed focus, expected to graduate in April 2024. Since January 2021, Clara has served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Jessica Kramer's biomedical engineering lab, focusing on the design and synthesis of mucin analog structures. In addition, Clara currently holds multiple roles including Trip Leader for the Outdoor Adventures program, leading various backcountry excursions, and Lead Bike Patroller at Whitefish Mountain Resort, ensuring rider safety at the downhill mountain biking park. Clara also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant for a Human Physiology course, supporting Professor Dave Temme and enhancing the educational experience for 200 students. Clara graduated from Chatfield High School in May 2020.
