Michael Horn

COO & General Counsel at Josiah White's

Michael began his professional career as a private attorney in 2007 after completing his Juris Doctorate at Indiana University. Prior to obtaining his law degree, he completed his Master of Arts in Athletics Administration for Higher Education at Ball State University and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Pepperdine University. In 2011, Michael was called away from private practice as an attorney and accepted the position of director of charitable products and church loans at Everence Financial, an organization founded on Mennonite values and principles. Later, he went to work for the medical device industry at Zimmer Biomet, serving in a variety of compliance roles including that of associate director of compliance, serving the US and Canadian sales personnel and distributorships. Most recently Michael served as a chief operating officer and chief compliance, privacy, and risk officer for Redimed and Lutheran Medical Group. These experiences allowed Michael a great opportunity to develop expertise in the areas of HIPPA and regulatory compliance – including the implementation of systems and enforcement of the policy, contract writing, and risk management.

In his current role, Michael will have overarching responsibility for the compliance and quality assurance, information technology, and support services staff. In addition, Michael will help protect White’s ministry by pulling from his legal background to advise White’s CEO and other members of the leadership team on subjects of significant risk.

Michael’s education and varied experience have uniquely prepared him to serve White’s as COO and general counsel.
