Glenn McClements

Glenn McClements has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Glenn currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Whitespace since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Whitespace from November 2019 to October 2022. Glenn also served as the General Manager at Whitespace from August 2017 to November 2019.

Before joining Whitespace, Glenn held various positions at different organizations. Glenn was the Chair of Capital Markets Collaborative Network, Northern Ireland at CMCN from March 2015 to September 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Vela Trading Technologies from July 2014 to August 2017.

Glenn also has experience working with open-source projects. Glenn served as a Maintainer for the OpenMAMA project under the Linux Foundation from August 2012 to April 2016. Additionally, they held multiple roles at NYSE Technologies, including Head of R&D from July 2011 to July 2014, R&D Manager from June 2010 to July 2011, and Development Manager from February 2008 to June 2010.

Earlier in their career, Glenn worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Wombat Financial Software from January 2006 to February 2008. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Consultant (Contractor) at Openwave from October 2004 to June 2005. Glenn also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Openwave from 1999 to 2004.

Glenn's career began at Kainos, where they started as a Placement Developer from July 1997 to September 1998.

Glenn McClements attended Queen's University Belfast from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with first-class honors in Computer Science.
