Joe Friday has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Joe began their career in 1995 with the United States Air Force, where they held various positions such as Officer Training School Flight Commander, Officer Training School Flight Training Officer, and 605th Aircraft Generation Squadron Flight Commander. Joe then joined Whitfield Foods Inc in 2001, starting as a Plant Manager and eventually becoming the Vice President of Operations and later the President and Chief Executive Officer. In 2002, Friday also joined the US Air Force Reserve, where they served in different capacities, including roles like 908th Transportation Flight Commander, 908th Maintenance Operations Flight Commander, and 908th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander. Joe'smost recent position is as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the 42d Air Base Wing Commander. Overall, Friday has a proven track record of leadership and diverse experience in both military and civilian sectors.
Joe Friday received their Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering and History from the United States Air Force Academy in 1995. Joe then pursued a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from the USAF Air Command and Staff College, which they completed in 2009. In recent years, Joe has attended various seminars and programs, including the Enterprise Leadership Seminar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019, the Program for Executives in Technology at the same university in 2018, and the Leading Strategically program at the Center for Creative Leadership in 2015.
