W. David Hardy

W. David Hardy, MD has a distinguished career in medicine, starting in 2002 when they became the Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. In the same year, they also took on the role of Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In 2015, Dr. Hardy joined Whitman-Walker Health as the Senior Director of Evidence-based Practices, specializing in research.

Dr. W. David Hardy received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1981. Before that, they completed their pre-medical studies in Zoology, Classics, and other subjects at The University of Texas at Austin from 1974 to 1977. Dr. Hardy then pursued residency training in Internal Medicine at various institutions, including Baylor-affiliated program and Harbor-UCLA. W. David also completed fellowship training in Infectious Diseases/Clinical Immunology/HIV-AIDS at UCLA School of Medicine. Later, they engaged in a post-doctoral fellowship in Molecular Virology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA from 1998 to 2002.
