Marek Milde is a Brooklyn-based artist and curator originally from Prague, Czech Republic, currently serving as an Art Handler at the Whitney Museum of American Art since 2017. Marek Milde has been an established artist since 1997, collaborating with wife Kristyna Milde on interactive installations and DIY projects that explore themes of domesticity and the relationship between daily life and the environment. Previous roles include Mentor at the New York Foundation for the Arts, Production Manager at the Czech Center NY, Executive Producer of the Czech Street Festival, Project Manager for the Moving Sound Festival, and Czech Showcase Producer for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. Marek Milde earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Queens College.
