Francisco Gomez

Francisco Gomez, M.A. has a range of experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as student affairs. Francisco has worked at Whittier College since 2021, where they have held various roles such as Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Co-Director of the Office of Equity & Inclusion and Brotherhood Leadership Program, Acting Director of the Office of Equity & Inclusion, Associate Director of the Office of Equity & Inclusion & Brotherhood Leadership Program, and Assistant Director of the Office of Equity & Inclusion and Office of Student Engagement.

Prior to their time at Whittier College, Gomez worked at the California Institute of Integral Studies from 2016 to 2021, serving as a Student Affairs Manager, Program Coordinator, Graduate Student Leadership Specialist, and Registrar Coordinator.

Additionally, Gomez had a brief role at the University of California, Davis in 2019 as a Graduate Student Specialist. Francisco also has prior experience at the same institution as a Student Assistant and Student Coordinator from 2013 to 2016.

Francisco Gomez, M.A. received a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Davis from 2011 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Arts - MA in Higher Education & Student Affairs from the University of San Francisco from 2018 to 2020.
