Christy Boraas serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School since July 2023 and holds positions as Associate Medical Director at Planned Parenthood North Central States and Physician at Whole Woman's Health, LLC since September 2014. Previously, Christy worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and served as a Leadership Training Academy Fellow at Physicians for Reproductive Health from 2013 to 2014. Additional experience includes a Family Planning Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a Physician role at Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania from 2012 to 2014. Christy completed residency training at The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Minnesota Medical School, a Master's Degree in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and English from St. Olaf College. Christy also holds a Certificate in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
