Katherine Johnke is a Membership Coordinator at WHRO Public Media, utilizing Salesforce to manage over 25,000 members while collaborating with vendors and software systems to enhance customer service and membership growth. With a long history of volunteer leadership, Katherine served as President and in various roles at Portsmouth Service League Incorporated, as well as numerous positions within Chesapeake Public Schools, including Classroom Volunteer and Band Parent. Katherine's professional background includes an interim role as Executive Director at Portsmouth Partnership, significant contributions to the National PTA as Treasurer and President, and experience in process improvement at The New York Times Company. Earlier, Katherine excelled as a Project Manager at American Management Systems, leading software development projects for DoD clients. Katherine holds a BS in Commerce and History from the University of Virginia.
