Lindsey Horner

Lindsey Horner is a seasoned education manager with extensive experience in educational program development and digital media engagement. Currently serving as the Manager of eMediaVA at WHRO Public Media since May 2019, Lindsey drives statewide engagement for K-12 educators and students through Virginia's leading digital media library, demonstrating proven success in partnership cultivation and innovative outreach strategies. Prior roles include Education and Programs Specialist at the 2019 Commemoration for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and High School Social Studies Teacher at Newport News Public Schools, where Lindsey was recognized for excellence in student engagement and lesson plan implementation. Lindsey holds a Master of Arts in History from Virginia Tech, a Virginia Postgraduate Professional Teaching License, and a Graduate Certificate in Learning Technologies with a concentration in eLearning from George Mason University.
