Mary Beth Hawthorne

Mary Beth Hawthorne has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the retail industry. Mary Beth began their career as a Store Manager at Victoria's Secret in 2004 and later joined Talbots as a Training and Development Specialist. At Talbots, they created content to support store teams and district managers. Following their time at Talbots, Hawthorne worked at Forever 21 as a District Manager, where they opened new stores, trained new managers, and implemented operational systems. Mary Beth then joined Ulta Beauty as a District Manager, where they led training sessions and developed managers' competencies. Hawthorne later held several positions at The Michaels Companies, Inc., including Zone Vice President, Vice President of Marketing, and District Manager. Mary Beth then served as Vice President of North America- Beauty Systems Group at Sally Beauty for two years. Most recently, they worked at Dollar General as a Division Vice President and currently holds the role of Vice President Airport Operations North America-East and Canada at WHSmith.

Mary Beth Hawthorne attended Tufts University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Education. Mary Beth then went on to the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Education with a focus on Fine and Studio Arts. Additionally, Mary Beth Hawthorne holds a certification as a Certified High School Art Teacher for grades 5-12.
