Megan Watkins

Megan Watkins is a seasoned retail professional currently serving as the Trading Director and Head of Buying for General Merchandising at WHSmith since April 2023. Previously, Megan held the role of Head of Buying Retail at LloydsPharmacy, managing a team of 34 across 43 health and beauty categories, and focused on developing a competitive omnichannel offering. With an extensive background at Aldi UK spanning nearly a decade, Megan advanced from Area Manager to Buying Director, where responsibilities included sourcing and purchasing strategies that achieved significant sales growth. Earlier career experiences include a brief internship at Liberty Ltd and participation in the London 2012 Olympics as an Athlete Services Games Maker. Megan holds a 1st Class Bachelor of Science with Honours in Sports and Exercise from the University of Exeter and has further educational experience at The University of Hong Kong.
