DevOps at Whyline

Lucas Viñals has a strong background in software development and DevOps. Lucas began their career at SoftING SRL in 2014, where they worked as a Software Developer. In this role, they developed an online check deposit application called "DepositosOnline" for a bank client. Lucas utilized MVC5 framework with C# and AngularJS, as well as Bootstrap and FontAwesome to create a user-friendly single-page application. Lucas held this position until July 2016.

In 2017, Lucas joined Whyline, where they held two different roles. Firstly, they worked as a NodeJS Developer, utilizing the latest JavaScript technologies and creating applications in a microservice oriented architecture. Lucas integrated several services with MongoDB and automated processes such as report generation and client notifications. Later on, they transitioned into a DevOps role, managing and controlling various technologies hosted in Amazon Services. Lucas created application infrastructures from scratch using services like ElasticBeanstalk, CloudFront, and Route53, and wrote Terraform scripts. Lucas is skilled in automating tasks using Bash.

Lucas Viñals earned an Engineer's degree in Informatics Engineering from the Universidad Abierta Interamericana from 2010 to 2014. Lucas also obtained a FCE (First Certificate Exam) from CLEC Rosario from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Colegio San José - Rosario from 2004 to 2009, where they received a degree as a Técnico Electrónico in Electronics. In addition to their formal education, Lucas has obtained several certifications, including "JavaScript Best Practices," "Shaping Up with AngularJS," "Building blocks of Express.js," and "Real-time Web with Node.js" from Code School in 2015.
