Amanda Abdur-Razzaaq

Amanda Abdur-Razzaaq is an experienced journalist currently serving as a City Education Reporter for WHYY since June 2023, focusing on education stories for the greater Philadelphia community. Previously, Amanda held key roles including Public Information and Communications Manager for the Durham Police Department and Evening News Anchor/Managing Editor at WWAY-TV, where responsibilities included anchoring multiple newscasts and managing editorial content. Past positions also featured anchoring and reporting at several television stations, including WCCB, WFAA-TV, KDAF TV, and NBCUniversal, showcasing a robust career in news reporting and communication. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a minor in Spanish from Kennesaw State University.
