Calvin Liao

Calvin is an Associate based in the group’s Taipei office. He focuses on Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT), and Consumer investment opportunities in the US and Asia. At WI Harper, Calvin focuses on performing due diligence as well as sourcing and portfolio company management.

Prior to joining Wi Harper, Calvin started his career as a credit analyst before joining Citibank as a Management Associate for its Institutional Clients Group. Later, he joined Citi’s corporate bank where he was mainly responsible for covering Taiwan’s top 100 companies, including many within the technology and electronics sector.

Calvin received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington, Seattle. He has been able to call the US, Taiwan, and the Philippines home.
