Kelvin Sun

Mr. Sun is a Principal based in the Taipei office and has over 14 years of investment and industry experience across semi-conductor, mobile platform, telecom, and various projects from enterprise IT consulting to city-wise new technologies deployment. He focuses on the investment in Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) in US and Asia.

Mr. Sun is actively involved in identifying opportunities in new technology and application in Artificial Intelligence, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Robotics, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things. Mr. Sun’s investment and portfolio under management include Bitmark (Blockchain), Acaia (IoT), Adenovo (AI), Health2sync (Digital Health), NextDrive (IoT), Opaque Studio (VR), Aeolus Robotics (Robotics), Codementor (Developer Community), KDAN (Mobile Software), and Plurk (Social).

Prior to WI Harper, Mr. Sun was responsible for leading global business development and technical marketing for cloud-based companies, overseeing and creating new business opportunities. During his time in Ericsson, he also worked on the leading initial development of 3G and 4G devices.

Kelvin received his bachelor's degree in Information Technology and specialized in Management Information systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
