Phil Beecher

Phil Beecher is the President & CEO at Wi SUN Alliance. Phil has also served as the Vice Chair of the Smart Grid Task Group at Wi-Fi Alliance, Chair of 802.15 Task Group TG4g (Smart Utility Networks) at IEEE, and Senior System Engineer at Silicon Laboratories. Phil Beecher has also been a Consultant at Texas Instruments, responsible for integrating OBEX into TI's GSM Bluetooth Stack. Phil is also the Chair of Edge Conformity Group at OpenSG and Director at Beecher Communications Ltd. Prior to that, they were the Software Team Leader at Integration UK Ltd from November 2003 to July 2008 and Software Engineer at Troy Wireless from January 1997 to November 2003.

Phil Beecher took a BSc in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Sussex, followed by Orange Hill Grammar School.
