Eliav Aviad

Eliav Aviad has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and cyber defense. Eliav most recently worked as a web application and API researcher at Wib starting from July 2022. Prior to that, they served as a lecturer at Ecom Academy starting from May 2022.

Eliav has also gained valuable experience at EY, where they worked as a Penetration Tester & Cyber Security Consultant at EY - Hacktics from December 2021 to July 2022. Eliav also simultaneously held the role of Information Security Project Manager at EY from June 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining EY, Eliav worked at the Ministry of Health Israel from January 2019 to June 2020 where they conducted risk assessments in the healthcare industry, identified security gaps, and provided training to the management of medical centers and hospitals.

Prior to that, Eliav served as an Information Security Project Manager at BugSec from October 2018 to June 2020. In this role, they led information security projects for medium and large-scale organizations, supported customer managers, and created project plans and milestones based on client requirements.

Eliav Aviad's early career experience includes working as a Cyber Security Officer at J6 & Cyber Defense Directorate, IDF from March 2010 to October 2018. In this role, they managed soldiers, officers, and commanders, collaborated with senior military and civilian personnel, security companies, and the Israeli intelligence community, and oversaw military operations rooms in routine and emergency situations.

From 2019 to 2020, Eliav Aviad attended HackerU - האקריו המרכז ללימודי מחשבים והשמת עובדים בהייטק (The HackerU Center for Computer Studies and High-Tech Employment) where they pursued a degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Eliav obtained certificates in CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
