Mary Kielar

Mary Kielar has a diverse work experience in the field of journalism and media. Mary began their career as a News Reporter and Assistant Producer at Ithaca College Television in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a News Reporter at WICB 91.7 FM.

In 2013, Mary had internships at FOX29 Philadelphia and Films of Record: a Ten Alps Company, where they gained experience in news production and documentary research. Mary returned to Ithaca College Television in 2013 as a News Anchor/Reporter and later worked as a Producer in 2013.

From 2014 to 2016, Mary started their own blog called "Eat and Be Mary", focusing on healthy eating and living. Mary turned the blog into a segment on Ithaca College Television. During this time, they were also a Research/General Intern at Films of Record, where they learned about documentary production.

Mary joined Lakeland Public Television in 2015 as a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter/Anchor, responsible for one-man band reporting. Mary also had a short internship at WETM-TV in the same year. From 2016 to present, they have been working as a Multimedia Journalist at CNYCentral (WSTM NBC3/WTVH CBS5/WSTQ CW6).

Throughout their career, Mary demonstrated their versatility and skills in various roles within media and journalism.

Mary Kielar attended Webster Schroeder High School from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained their High School Degree. Later, they pursued their education at Ithaca College from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
