Head Start Teacher At Wfisd at WICHITA FALLS ISD

Kelly Dickey has a diverse work experience that spans over various roles and industries. Starting from 2003, they worked as a Teacher/ESL at City View ISD for six years before joining Vernon ISD as an ELA/SS Teacher in 2009. In 2014, they transitioned to the corporate world and served as the Human Resources & Safety Director at ProFab Welding & Construction INC. for two years. Following their time in the construction industry, they worked as a Literacy Specialist at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice from 2015 to 2019. Kelly then returned to the education sector and became a Head Start Teacher at PETROLIA CISD from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Head Start Teacher at Wichita Falls ISD, starting in August 2021.

Kelly Dickey has a diverse education history. Kelly attended Midwestern State University where they pursued different fields of study. From 1993 to 1997, they earned a degree in Criminal Justice, focusing on Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. Following this, from 1997 to 2002, they studied Political Science and Government, and obtained a degree in Political Science. Lastly, in 2003 to 2004, Kelly pursued Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, leading to a degree.
