Vicki Whisenhant

Vicki Whisenhant, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Director of Human Resources at Wichita State University since September 2022. Prior to this role, Vicki worked as Global Talent Development at Spirit AeroSystems and served as Chief Experience Officer at Post University, where significant improvements were made in employee engagement and retention. Vicki has extensive experience in leadership roles such as Chief Performance Officer at Surgical Eye Care Company, Owner/Consultant at Beyond Strategy Partners, and Chief People Officer at a multi-state healthcare education company. Vicki’s career also includes key positions at Office Depot and Strategic Solutions, making impactful contributions across various sectors. Vicki holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education with a focus on Human Resource Development from Kansas State University and a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship from Wichita State University.
