Xu Shen

Xu Shen is a Senior Mechanical and AI Engineer at WideSense since July 2023, previously holding the position of Mechanical and AI Software Engineer. As a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2018 to May 2024, Xu Shen contributed to multiple projects and also served as a mentor for Master of Engineering capstone projects, focusing on the development of autonomous systems. Xu Shen gained earlier experience as a Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University and as an intern at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Xu Shen holds a PhD and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, with additional study as an exchange student at the University of Alberta.
