Nick Docherty

Nick Docherty currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Wieden + Kennedy, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Docherty founded and led Untapped Strategy from July 2021 to February 2024, focusing on independent strategy consultancy and working with notable clients like Nike and O2. With extensive experience in leading strategic initiatives, Docherty was Global Head of Strategy at BETC from July 2018 to June 2021, where contributions included winning significant new business and launching award-winning campaigns. Previous positions also include Global Group Strategy Director at Wieden + Kennedy, Planning Director at Leo Burnett, and Senior Planner at Ogilvy & Mather, among others. Nick Docherty holds an MA Hons in History from The University of Edinburgh and has completed the IPA Excellence Diploma and a Hyper Island Masterclass.
