Mariusz Golec

CEO at Wielton SA

From July 1, 2020, Mr. Mariusz Golec is the 1st Vice-President of the Management Board of Wielton SA and CEO of the Wielton Group. In the Management Board, he is responsible, among others, for: for supervision over companies, building synergies in the Group, searching for new markets and continuing the development of the Wielton Group.

The beginnings of the professional career of Vice-President Mariusz Golec date back to 1994. He gained experience in various production companies - initially he held positions related to direct production, then he worked as a designer and manager of assembly processes.

Mr. Mariusz Golec has been associated with the Wielton company almost from the beginning of its establishment. In the years 2000 - 2015 he held the position of Vice-President of the Management Board. From 2015 to June 30, 2020, he was the President of the Management Board of Wielton S.A.

During 20 years of his work at Wielton SA, he actively participated in all key projects of the Company, taking part in, among others, in its introduction in 2007 to the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In foreign acquisitions conducted in 2015-2018, he was involved in the process of acquiring shares in the French company Fruehauf SAS, the Italian company Compagnia Italiana Rimorchi, the German company Langendorf and the British company Lawrence David. In 2017, he coordinated work on the preparation and implementation of the Growth Strategy of the Wielton Group 2020. He also managed a number of research and development investments and implemented many projects focused on improving efficiency and increasing production capacity.

Mr. Mariusz Golec is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Lodz University of Technology, as well as MBA studies at the Wrocław University of Economics and the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of IESE Business School.
