Tobias Rieder

Tobias Rieder possesses extensive experience in public affairs and management within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Group Leader of Public Affairs at Wien Energie GmbH since September 2016, Tobias transitioned from an Expert role in the same domain. Prior to this, Tobias held the position of Referent at Oesterreichs Energie, focusing on renewable energy and climate policy. Academic contributions include roles as a lecturer in Public Management at FH des BFI and in Resource Economics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. Tobias's internship experiences at EVN and OMV add to a well-rounded background. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Economics from WU Vienna and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Environmental and Bio-resource Management from BOKU.
