Jo Simoens

Jo Simoens has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Jo began their career at Volvo in 1993 as the Head of Production and then moved on to Domo as the Head of the Maintenance department. In 1997, Jo joined Sofcell as a Business Consultant, where they worked on various projects for clients related to ERP, DMS, and logistics. Jo then joined Logica in 1999, working as an IT consultant until 2007. Since 2007, Jo has been associated with Wienerberger AG, initially as an ICT Manager and currently holding the position of Head of Business Solutions for the Region West.

Jo Simoens attended Vlerick Management School from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Management. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1993, they studied at RUG (University Ghent) and received a degree in Automation Engineering. Jo completed their undergraduate education at RUG from 1987 to 1992, earning a degree in Civil Engineering (Werktuigkunde-elektrotechniek).
