Michal Birnbach

Michal Birnbach, DBA, FCMA, CGMA, has an extensive career in finance, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for Wienerberger AG since October 2005, overseeing Finance & Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, and IT for multiple production plants in Poland and the Baltic States. Prior to this role, Michal held the position of CFO for Poland and the Baltic Countries at Wienerberger Poland from 1998 to 2005, focusing on Management Accounting and Controlling. Michal's earlier experience includes roles as Controlling Specialist at Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Assistant Brand Manager at Coca-Cola. Michal holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the Polish Academy of Sciences and an MSc in Economics from the University of Warsaw, along with a professional qualification from CIMA.
