Johannes Mayer

Johannes Mayer has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Johannes is currently the Managing Director - COO and Co-Founder at Wiferion - wireless charging & batteries, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at the same company starting from October 2019. From April 2016 to May 2020, Johannes was the Managing Director - CFO, Co-Founder, and Chief Evangelist at Wiferion.

Before their roles at Wiferion, Johannes worked as a Project Manager at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE from June 2012 to June 2015. Johannes also worked as a Diploma Student at the same institute from October 2011 to April 2012.

Additionally, Johannes was a Founding Partner at Quant Associates / Quant Energy from October 2010 to January 2012, and a Project Lead at Weiterbildungszentrum Ulm für innovative Energietechnologien e.V. from November 2010 to September 2011.

Earlier in their career, they were an Intern at Salas O'Brien in February and March 2010, a Student Trainee at United Monolithic Semiconductors (UMS) GmbH from September 2008 to July 2009, and an Intern at Bosch in July and September 2007.

Johannes Mayer completed their secondary education at the Gymnasium in der Glemsaue Ditzingen from 1998 to 2006, obtaining an Abitur. Following this, they pursued higher education at Ulm University from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Diploma in Physics and Economics. In 2009, they participated as an Exchange Student at San Jose State University, focusing on Physics and Business studies for one academic year.
