Kiira Lehtonen

Kiira Lehtonen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kiira started their career as a Trainee at the Consumer's Office, where they conducted research on unfair contract terms and assisted lawyers with supervisory procedures. Kiira then worked as a Trainee at Peltonen LMR Attorneys, where they gained experience in drafting legal documents and conducting research. Kiira later worked as a Trainee (lawyer) at Scognamiglio International Law Firm, representing foreign companies approaching the Italian market. Kiira then joined Magnusson Helsinki Asianajotoimisto as an Associate Lawyer, handling mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, and IP and technology matters. Kiira also worked as a Trainee and Associate Lawyer at Attorneys-at-Law TRUST, focusing on banking and finance assignments and corporate transactions. Kiira then joined Alkem Oy as a Freelance Translator, specializing in legal translations. Kiira then joined Wihuri Group, initially as a Legal Counsel for data protection and IT & Technology, and later as the Head of Legal. In their current role at Wihuri Oy, they serve as the Human Resources Director.

Kiira Lehtonen attended Helsinki University from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Laws degree in the field of Law. From 2008 to 2009, they also pursued Studies based on the Flexible Study Right at the University of Vaasa, focusing on Economics. In 2015, Kiira Lehtonen obtained the degree of Authorized Translator (ENG-FI) from the Opetushallitus (the Finnish National Board of Education).
