Jason Tollestrup has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Jason currently holds the position of VP, Global Revenue Strategy & Operations at Fandom, a role they started in November 2023. Jason is also active at Prebid.org, serving as the Publisher PMC Chair & Board Member since January 2023.
Before that, Jason worked at The Washington Post for a significant duration from October 2012 to November 2023. Jason held various roles during their time there, including Vice President, Programmatic Strategy and Yield, Director of Programmatic Advertising and Business Intelligence, Manager of Programmatic and Business Intelligence, and Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.
Prior to their involvement with The Washington Post, Jason began their career at Emilio's Restaurant Assistant Manager at The Grove Hotel in August 1998 and then worked as a Sales Architect at Hewlett-Packard from August 2005 to July 2007. Jason later joined BlueVolt as a BlueVolt Solutions Specialist in August 2007 and stayed there until October 2012.
Throughout their career, Jason has gained expertise and demonstrated skills in revenue strategy, programmatic advertising, business intelligence, negotiation, vendor management, and team leadership.
Jason Tollestrup earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from The College of Idaho, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Jason also obtained the Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations certification from The Trade Desk in 2021.
