Kavitha Appakayala

Kavitha Appakayala is an experienced professional in quality engineering and customer strategy, currently serving as Senior Manager at Wikimedia Foundation since January 2023 and Head of Customer Strategy at LokiBots since July 2022. Previously, Kavitha held various managerial roles at eBay from 2010 to 2023, where responsibilities included leading quality engineering teams for Product, Item Detail pages, and Search UI, while also contributing to the development of the Service Based Checkout platform and the Facebook Connect project. Earlier experience includes a position as Staff Engineer in Site Reliability Engineering at eBay and as a Software Consultant at Fujitsu. Kavitha holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics from Sri Krishnadevaraya University and G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, both attended from 1995 to 1999.
