Vaughn Walters is a test engineer at the Wikimedia Foundation. Vaughn has over three years of professional experience as a software engineer and developer.
Vaughn began their career as an intern at Work Institute in April 2017. Vaughn then went on to work as a software engineer at Paramore Digital from June 2017 to November 2018. Vaughn's responsibilities at Paramore Digital included writing code for new features, fixing bugs, and creating CMS architectures. Vaughn also styled front-ends using Sass and compiled source JS and Sass using Gulp or Grunt running on Node. In November 2018, Vaughn started working as a software developer at FortyAU, where they worked on React, Ruby on Rails, and Wordpress projects.
In June 2021, Vaughn started their current position as a test engineer at the Wikimedia Foundation.
Vaughn Walters has a Bachelor of Science in Music from Radford University, and has taken courses in Chemistry and Theater from Marietta College. Vaughn is currently working towards their CompTIA A+ 801 certification (Part 1) from New Horizons.
