Brad Burris

Brad Burris is an accomplished executive in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Land & Business Development at Wild Basin Energy since November 2023. In this role, Burris manages the acquisition of mineral and royalty interests in the Haynesville Shale across Texas and Louisiana, while overseeing negotiations and title reviews. Prior experiences include roles as Vice President of Land, Land Manager, and Senior Landman at Brigham Minerals, LLC, and as Senior Landman and Landman at Hilcorp Energy Company, focusing on various shale regions and conventional resources. Burris began the career as a Land Negotiator at BP, gaining valuable expertise in multiple basins. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
