Ryan Bethencourt

Ryan Bethencourt serves as the CEO of Wild Earth Inc., a company dedicated to providing sustainable, cruelty-free plant-based protein pet food. As a Managing Partner at Sustainable Food Ventures, Ryan focuses on supporting early-stage plant-based and cell-based food companies, while also holding the position of Partner at BABEL.Ventures, where involvement includes leading biotech investments. Additional roles include Board Member at Jellatech and Tiamat Sciences Corp., and founding family member at UMANA, Inc., a multi-family office. Ryan contributes as an advisor to UCSF Health Hub and InterVenn Biosciences, leveraging expertise in biotechnology and healthcare innovation. Previous experience includes co-founding IndieBio, a leading biotech accelerator, resulting in the development of numerous innovative biotech companies. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, alongside various certifications and degrees in biological sciences and project management.
